                  ABOUT US

The Famous Strathaven Folk Club ran throughout the 1960's & 70's and was a regular host to legendary acts such as Archie Fisher, Hamish Imlash, Barbara Dickson, Billy Connolly, Alastair MacDonald and Danny Kyle.

Sadly, the club closed in the 1980's and was inactive until it's rebirth in 2015 - initially at The Gallery in Bridge Street before returning to it's historic former  home in The Bucks Head Hotel (Townhead Street).

These days we meet monthly on the THIRD Friday of every month. We alternate between Come All Ye "Singer's Nights" (where anyone is welcome to do a turn) and Special Guest nights where some of the best acts from around the  Folk scene are booked to perform for us.

So come along and join us for some great entertainment. See the musicians up close in an intimate environment and have a chat with them. Performers and non-performers are equally welcome.

Doors open at 7.15pm.
Raffle at Half Time.
Admission: £5 Adults & £2 Under 16's.
